# Retrieve a content item by path

Retrieves the details of a content item by specifying its path in the content tree.

  - `item_path` (string, required)
    The path of the content item in the content tree.

  - `failOnNotFound` (any)
    Determines the behavior when the content item is not found.

  - `language` (any)
    The language version of the content item to be retrieved.

  - `x-sc-job-id` (any)
    A unique identifier for the job, used to trace, audit, and revert actions performed by an AI agent through the Agent API.
